Caramba copper paste – the all-rounder
Our copper paste (also called hot screw compound) is a versatile product with properties for a variety of requirements. This paste is mainly used as a lubricating and protective product for parts from metal that are exposed to high temperatures and pressure. The thermal properties of our copper paste are comparable with that of ceramic paste. Copper pigments that are included in our copper paste protect parts in their function and ensure a preventive effect against wearing and seizing. However, this also applies to the use on cylinder heads, valves, gears or turbines. This versatile product can also be used as a heat transfer paste, sealing paste for hot surfaces and as electrical contact paste.
Tips on how to use Caramba copper paste
Clean at first the surface to be treated from residues of all types such as oxide, paint and scale layers, old lubricants and then dry it. Then, you can apply Caramba copper paste as a thin film and spread it evenly using a brush, textile cloth or scrubber. Please avoid any mixing with foreign products and do not use this paste for brakes in combination with ABS or ESP systems as this can lead to malfunction of the brake system.
